Dark Kitten was founded way back in 2002, and started out just selling a few pairs of boots and shoes to family and friends. Then to friends of friends, who then became customers, and by word of mouth, Dark Kitten just got bigger and bigger. There was obviously a market out there for the kind of shoes and boots we stock, so we decided to turn Dark Kitten into a 'proper' business.

The company grew and started its own website in 2004. We opened a small shop in Wolverhampton in 2006, but as our business got bigger, it became obvious in the summer of 2009, that the shop was just too small to carry the 700 lines (and growing), that we have in stock. So we now sell only on our website, which keeps our costs down and therefore keeps our prices down......and means more shoes and more designs for our customers!!!

We specialize in Alternative Shoes and Boots including Goth, Rock. Fashion, TV, Wider Fitting and Larger Sized shoes up to a UK14.5. We have also just introduced our new range of Rene Rofe Lingerie from sizes 6 to 28, and a luxury range of tights and stockings. 

Our customers are from all over the world, from famous music, show and alternative backgrounds. Our shoes have been featured in MTV music videos, Fashion shows, Catwalks, Alternative Magazines, Photo Shoots, Films and Stage Productions, including Pantomimes and the Theatre. We also have a number of famous Drag Artists who are regularly photographed and seen 'around town' in our shoes and boots.

We sell genuine Pleaser, Demonia, Lucious, Devious and Funtaisma shoes and boots. No imitations here. We have a great 'Returns Policy' so you can be assured that when you order with us, you are purchasing good quality shoes, from a reputable UK company.
