OUR SHIPPING TERMS

UK CUSTOMERS

When we send your items to you they are discreetly packed and sent via Courier. We use FedEx, Zoom, ParcelForce or Royal Mail. We will send your order to any address whether its work/home or an alternative. Any special requests, very discreet packaging etc, please add to the comments box at the checkout. We put a small 'returns' label on our parcels and packets, so if in the unlikely event your parcel gets lost, it can be returned to us.

Our service is discreet, secure and confidential.

Most of our items are sent by Royal Mail, ParcelForce, Zoom Couriers and FedEx. All parcels require a signature on delivery. If you are unable to sign for the delivery the courier, (Zoom/ParcelForce/FedEx/RoyalMail) will leave a card for you to either collect from your local depot or arrange another delivery day. The Royal Mail also require a signature and will leave a card for you to collect your parcel from the local sorting office if you are not available. They will return your parcel to us if you do not claim it within 7 days.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION

If your item/size is in stock we aim to dispatch your order within 2-3 working days.

If for any reason the ordered item(s) are out of stock with our supplier or at our warehouse, we will order it for you directly from our manufacturer. 

We would expect to get your goods to you within 5 - 10 working days.

Dark Kitten will not be held responsible for any cost or liability incurred by you (the customer) for a specific item not being available/delivered at a specific time.

The majority of our products are imported from the United States, and sometimes there can be delays over the holiday period and with our international couriers. They don't ship on Bank holidays, 4th July etc!

We will keep you informed via email or telephone, but please allow up to 28 days before contacting us.

If the item(s) is out of stock at the manufacturers, and we know the production date, we will inform you and give you the option of cancelling your order with a full refund, or placing your order as a 'Backorder'. We will then dispatch your order automatically as soon as it becomes available.

All postage and packing costs are added at the checkout, and calculated by weight.

The shopping cart will not calculate correct shipping costs to the rest of the world so please contact us by email before placing an order, and we will be happy to give you a shipping quote. If you wish to purchase an item and you live outside the countries listed above you may be liable for extra postal charges. RETURNS POLICY

We hope that your Dark Kitten order is just what you wanted. But if it isn't, we're here to help. If you have any questions please email us at shoes@darkkitten.co.uk

Your satisfaction is important to us, so please choose carefully before you buy. Please read through the following easy steps if you wish to return goods to us.

1) To return a product you must return the item/s within 28 days of delivery. Please mark all parcels with the words 'RETURN' on the front.

For UK customers: Send via the Royal Mail. Please obtain a free Certificate of Posting when retuning your goods so that we can complete your request in the event of items being lost in transit.

For International customers: Return postage from outside the UK is payable by the sender. Send your returns via a traceable method, marking your package clearly as 'Returned Goods' to avoid delays at customs. Please retain your shipping documentation, so that we can complete your request in the event of items being lost in transit.

2) You should email us at shoes@darkkitten.co.uk to notify us that you wish to return the item/s, stating the order number and purchase date, we will not accept goods back that we are not expecting.

3) Please fill in and detach the 'Return Form' which is included in the paperwork sent with your order. This includes the nature of the 'return' the order number and what action you require from us. On receipt, our warehouse will examine the product to ensure it is in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Refunds will be given within 7 days on receipt of your return. Replacements will be sent depending on stock availability.

If you require a replacement/alternative, please include a cheque/postal order to Dark kitten Ltd, to cover return postage. Alternatively, if you have paid by PayPal, we will send a PayPal request for postage via your PayPal account. 

This does not apply for goods that are returned because they are faulty. We will reimburse you for all your postage costs.

4) You may also cancel your order for any reason, within 7 working days, commencing from the day the goods were ordered, you do not need to give a reason for this, and you will be refunded in full. If you have already received the goods (within 7 working days), you will then need to return the goods to us. We will refund you in full, except the postage costs for which you will be liable.

For items that are NOT broken or damaged upon receipt, and you wish to return them, the following policy applies

a. The goods must be unused.

b. The goods must be in their original condition & packaging. Hosiery cannot be accepted for return if the packaging has been opened.

c. The goods must be received back within 28 days from the day you received your order.

d. The customer must pay all shipping costs, but the product cost, correct at time of purchase, will be refunded in full.

e. Any free gifts or promotional items must be returned.

If we suspect that the goods have been used or any of the above conditions are not met then we reserve the right to return the goods to you.

Your statutory rights are not affected
