Q.What is the difference between PU, Patent, Stretch and Leather materials?

A.Patent, either Patent Leather or Patent PU, the latter being a man made material, has a very shiny, almost mirror like appearance. Pu, short for Polyurethane, is a semi-shiny to non-shiny man made material designed to be less expensive than leather. Stretch, either Patent or PU, is a thin, stretchable material, which allows it to fit to the contours of the feet or legs. Leather, usually having a supple and comfortable feel and with a texture pattern, is the highest quality material of all used in shoe making.

Q.Do you sell Vegan shoes and Boots?

A. Yes we do. We stock a selection of totally Vegan shoes and boots. No animal products or animal derivatives, whatsoever, are used in the making or production of our Vegan shoes or boots. All Vegan products are clearly marked throughout this website.  

Q.How do you convert a man's shoes size to a woman's shoe size?                   

A.Shoes fit differently. Our best rule of thumb is a two-size increase.  A man's US9 converts to a woman's US11.  Please check our size chart for more information.

Q. Why are US shoe sizes different to UK shoe sizes?

A. There are no standard international size charts for shoes, boots or sandals so sizing differs from country to country. See our size chart for further details.

Q. My shoes have arrived, but  A) I've changed my mind  B) they don't fit/wrong size  C) they are faulty  and I want to return them?

A. We have a 28 day return policy providing the shoes/boots are unworn, in a saleable condition and they are in the original box and internal packaging. So just fill in the return form enclosed with your order, take it to the Post Office, making sure you obtain proof of posting (which is free). We will then process your return order. If you require a replacement/alternative, please include a cheque/postal order for postage. Alternatively, if you have paid by PayPal, we will send a request for postage costs via your PayPal account. In the unlikely event that the shoes/boots are faulty we will refund all your postage costs in full. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Q. Ive placed my order 3 days ago and it has not arrived?

A. If your order is in stock we will dispatch it within 3 working days, this does not include weekends. If we have to order it from our suppliers, it will usually take 5 to 10 working days. If it is out of stock with our supplier we will give you an estimated order date. You can then let us know what you would like to do, either cancel, wait or choose an alternative. We will always email you as soon as your order has been dispatched. See our Terms and Conditions and Shipping and Returns for more details.

Q. Ive have been emailed with a Tracking Number for my order, what do I do?

A. When we dispatch your order we email you with a Royal Mail or FedEx Tacking Number, so that you/we can trace your parcel if it gets lost or you don't receive it within the specified time. Log on to RoyalMail.com or FedEx.com and then to the Track and Trace page. Enter your Tracking Number and the information will tell you where your parcel is. Any problems please email us.

Q.I have received an email telling me that my 'order status' has gone from 'Pending' to 'Processing' or 'Paypal Processing'. What does that mean?

A. When we receive your order is goes onto our system as 'Pending', and as the order process proceeds the status changes to either 'Processing' or 'PayPal Processing' and then finally to 'Dispatch Que'. You will receive a confirmation email from us as we proceed with your order until it is finally dispatched.
